We did it again - we all brought so many different types of homebrew, wine and mead we couldn't sample them all!  There was brown ale and pumpkin mead, Tom K's light and very quaff-able kolsch and an amazing, one-of-a-kind cranberry sour Luke "accidentally" made.  There was a great coffee stout and a smooth, field-corn cream ale, an "orange" beer from POV George that didn't seem fruity at all (unlike George), plus pale ales, porters, a few micro lagers and ales, and a great example of a home-brewed Belgian Trappist ale from newly elected President Nick.

Tom and Sue put out a great spread of various "meze"  including a slow cooker of deliciously smokey pulled pork and fresh hard rolls, a really good  broccoli, grape and bacon salad (because bacon makes EVERYTHING taste better!), Sue's famous cheese dip, a giant bowl of fresh, homemade salsa with chips, plus there were several yummy dessert dishes.  Needless to say, we all ate really well!

Several members who we haven't seen in a few months made it out, including Britt, Jim, Beer-Can Brian, and myself.  The hot topic around the table: When is it going to be cold enough for us to have the next club brew session?  It's still well above freezing, so I guess we'll have to wait a few more days.  The Museum's Food & Froth Fest is just around the corner though, so we gotta get that brewery fired up soon, plus we need to Cristen the new Brew Deck!

Britt helped us honor Guy Fawkes Day by blowing up Jeff and Diana's house - they were on vacation in the Grand Caymans during a Trub meeting - they'll never make that mistake again!  Britt also educated us on the finer Thespian pursuits of actress and Harvard grad, Natalie Portman - who knew she has a rap video out?  We all gathered around Tall Tom's PC to watch adorable little Natalie sing and dance.   I know I speak for all when I say, "Damn Natalie, you a crazy chick!"

Thanks for hosting and for all the wonderful food Tom and Sue, it was another great Trubmeister meeting!  I hope to see everyone at the annual Christmas Party at Ken and Kim's.

Merry Thanksgivoween!  Wink
